Telling a Good Story (21 - 27 May 2006)
How short our life really is! The day so quickly dawns when we realise there are more days behind us than we can hope for in the future. Life is too short to bear grudges - to be unforgiving - to carry on feuds with erstwhile friends. A man stood by the bedside of a dying elderly lady. In recent days he had been haunted by the memory of a wrong he had done to her many years ago. In repentance he made a long journey to apologise. But she died without regaining conciousness. The psalmist said, |
