6.1. CAN PRESENT DEMONSTRATIONS OF THE ALL-POWER OF GOD BE NAMED?

A KEY SCRIPTURE

Colossians 1:17 "And he is before all things, and by him all things consist." (KJV)

6.1.1. CHRIST IS EXERCISING ALL-POWER IN THE PRESENT Not only is Christ Jesus declared to be eternal - it is revealed that He is all-powerful and that He is exercising omnipotence in the present. The Lord Jesus Christ is in perfect control of the universe. He is said to be "upholding all things by the word of his power" (Hebrews 1:3 KJV).

A KEY SCRIPTURE

Romans 1:16 "For I am not ashamed of the gospel of Christ: for it is the power of God unto salvation to every one that believeth; ..." (KJV)

6.1.2. GOD IS EXERCISING HIS ALL-POWER IN SAVING SOULS Presently, the Lord is demonstrating His all-power in the conversion of the most unreachable people in the most unlikely places!

It is by the power of God that new birth takes place (John 1:11-12 ).

It is by the power of the Word of truth of God's good news that saves (1 Peter 1:23; Ephesians 1:13 ).

It is by the working of the power of the Holy Spirit that the character is changed (Galatians 5:22-23 )

It is by Holy Spirit power through signs and wonders that accompany the Word, that makes sinners obedient (Romans 15:18:19 ).
