6.4.3. ILLUMINATION OF PRIESTS CLOTHING (Exodus 39)

Chapter 39 gives the account of the priests garments being manufactured. All of which points to the character and work of the Lord Jesus Christ, dealt with in earlier studies. The completion of the work of the tabernacle is announced (Exodus 39:32-43 ).

BibleExodus 39:32 "... according to all that the LORD had commanded Moses; ..."

The repetitive expression announces that all has been executed according to the divine plan. Upon inspecting and finding that this was so, Moses accordingly could bless the people because of their obedience (Exodus 39:43 ). Blessing inevitably follows obedience. We shall be blessed ourselves in proportion as we believe and obey. God's blessing always brings fruitfulness and prosperity, and ability to be channels and instruments of blessing to others.
